Overview
A peristaltic pump consists of three main components: the drive, the pump head, and the tubing. The fluid is isolated within the pump tubing, and the tubing can be quickly replaced. The pump allows for fluid to flow in reverse, can operate dry, and has low maintenance costs, which form the primary competitive advantages of peristaltic pumps.
