Overview
It consists of two gears, a pump body, and front and rear covers, creating two sealed spaces. As the gears rotate, the volume of the space on the disengaging side of the gears increases, creating a vacuum that draws in liquid, while the volume of the space on the meshing side decreases, pushing the liquid into the pipeline.

● The suction and discharge directions depend on the rotation direction of the pump shaft.
● Theoretical flow rate is determined by the size of the working components and the speed, and is independent of discharge pressure; the discharge pressure is related to the load pressure.
● Simple structure, low cost, with few wearing parts (no need for suction and discharge valves), impact-resistant, reliable operation, and can be directly connected to the motor (no need for a speed reducer).
● Due to multiple friction surfaces, it is not suitable for pumping liquids containing solid particles but is ideal for pumping oils.
